Brendan Roose joined applEcon in May 2022 after completing his B.A. in Economics at the University of Michigan. As a student, Brendan spent nearly three years as a Research Assistant with the Health and Retirement Study at the Institute for Social Research. He also worked as a Senior Sports Editor with The Michigan Daily, where he covered the Michigan football team’s 2021 Big Ten Championship season. In addition to a Minor in Writing, Brendan’s undergraduate coursework covered topics ranging from industrial organization to public finance.
